Consumer dispute resolution

The European Commission shut down its Online Dispute Resolution platform on 20 July 2025, so no link to it is given here.

We are neither willing nor obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board (§ 36 VSBG).

As a service provider we are responsible for our own content on these pages under general law, in accordance with § 7 (1) DDG. Under §§ 8 to 10 DDG, however, we are not obliged to monitor transmitted or stored third-party information, or to investigate circumstances that indicate unlawful activity. Software, pre-release versions and downloads

BEAT.ref and LIVE.companion are currently distributed as alpha and beta versions. Pre-release builds are provided free of charge and “as is”, with no warranty as to freedom from defects, availability or fitness for a particular purpose. They may contain bugs that produce incorrect results or lead to the loss of data and project files. Please back up your projects before using them.

Liability for pre-release versions provided free of charge is limited to intent and gross negligence. Liability for damage arising from injury to life, limb or health, liability under the German Product Liability Act, and the statutory warranty rights that apply when a licence is purchased, all remain unaffected.

The content, works, graphics and software created by the operator on these pages are protected by German copyright law. Reproduction, adaptation, distribution and any kind of exploitation beyond the limits of copyright require the written consent of the respective author or creator. Downloads and copies of this site are permitted for private, non-commercial use only.
